- Basic cookies so the pages load and the menu stays put
- Maybe simple stats cookies to see which crypto post you read
- Third-party cookies if I embed a chart or a video from another site
Cookies on my blog
Cookies on my blog
Yeah, cookies. Not the chocolate kind you cry into at midnight, sadly. They are tiny files a site sticks in your browser so it can remember stuff. I run this place alone, just me, a tired pal walking you through buying coins and wallets so you don't panic. My wallet is a laminated accusation, but cookies are less scary than that.
What might show up
My wallet's a laminated accusation, but cookies are just crumbs in your browser.
Why do I bother? Honest answer: the basic ones keep the lights on. Without them the site forgets you logged in or that you hated my Ripple chat. The stats, if any, just tell me someone read my Ledger crate-training piece. No spy lab here.
Now, third parties. Sometimes I embed a thing from another site, like a price graph. That other site might drop its own cookie. They see broad bits, not your name or your secret coin stash. I keep those rare, promise.
You can block or delete these crumbs anytime. Open your browser settings, find cookies, hit remove. The site might act a little dumb after, like a dragon in a crate, but you'll survive. No PhD needed.
For more on what little data I might gather, peek at my Privacy page. I may update this note if I change something. If you need to reach me, use the contact form on the site. I check it, unlike my gym membership.
